Teaching Green Tea Preparation To Schoolchildren
On May 2nd, 15 fifth-grade schoolchildren of Minami-Kyushu City’s Shimoide Elementary School experienced hand-rolling tea, visited a tea factory, and joined a tea preparation lesson at the Tea Processing Workshop “Chirami” in the same city. Guided by the owner of the tea factory, Mr. Chihiro NISHINO, and members of the Chiran Tea Industry Youth Club, the students seemed to have a lot of fun in their experiences.
The students said, “I want to prepare tea for my parents using the tea that I rolled myself and the preparation I was taught today.”
The younger generation is now ready to enjoy and share their experience as well ! Congratulations to them.
