Learning ＆ Networking Event in Tokyo

On the 1st of February 2020, a cross-industry exchange and networking event focusing on Chiran tea was held in Tsukiji Tokyo, inviting 16 dynamic players from a range of industries, such as IT, media, marketing, café owner, travel and so forth. The purpose of this event was to share and to solve various problems involving Chiran tea producers and to discuss about its great potentials and future prospects.

Participants had lively discussions and exchanged ideas between producers and consumers. Three green tea producers in Chiran, technical advisor & coordinator, and government officers flew to Tokyo to join this 
event to make a presentation to share their current situation and challenges with all the participants.

At the end, everybody agreed to cooperate with each other to produce various projects that are attractive both for consumers and producers, by taking full advantage of their local resources and networks in Chiran, and to maximize the potential of Chiran tea market, not only in Japan, but also around the world.
