Introducing Chiran’s # 1 Shochu, Brewed with Chiran Tea Leaves
Chiran Jozo is a shochu brewery with its own tea plantation. Their owners know the charms of green tea and of sweet potato shochu. As such, they wanted to deliver a product that combined both to create a new flavour.
This shochu is made from the first-picked green tea of the season, the tea with the most abundant taste, and is combined with sweet potatoes of the best quality, carefully selected and grown in the Minami Satsuma region of Kagoshima Prefecture.
The refreshing scent of green tea and the rich taste of sweet potato shochu combine to offer a luxurious harmony of flavours, giving you the impression of floating over a green carpet of tea leaves.
