In Yukimaru region of Ei Town, where Sanada Yukimura's legend remains, we grow and produce various cultivars of green tea under the slogan "Producing Safe, Secured and Clean Green Tea". We strongly focus on the improvement of soil quality and grow 7 different cultivars (Yutaka midori, Sae midori, Asatsuyu, Yabukita, Oku midori, Kanaya midori, Surugawase). Our effort will continue so that we can maximize the rich umami taste and aroma of green tea in our process.

Sanada Yukimura (1567 – 1615) was a Japanese samurai warrior during the Sengoku period. He was especially known as the leading general on the defending side of the Siege of Osaka. Yukimura was called "A Hero who may appear once in a hundred years", "Crimson Demon of War" and "The Last Sengoku Hero". It is said that he ran away after the defeat of the Osaka battle and secretly lived in a small village of Kagoshima, which is Ei. The stone tomb of Sanada Yukimura remains in Yukimaru region.
