Marugoto Nippon Asakusa visits Chiran

In Minami-Kyushu, the booths for the “Marugoto Nippon“ establishment in Asakusa (Tokyo) have been decided for 2018.

Before the exhibit, Ms. Suzuki and Ms. Maeganeku from the “Marugoto Nippon Asakusa Nippon Area management office“ went from doing PR and handling sales to going directly to Chiran Tea´s production area. They experienced first hand the marvel of Chiran Tea by visiting their tea plantation and processing plant, as well as finding out more about their hand-rolled tea and leaning how to make tasty tea.

We received a very uplifting response from Ms. Suzuki, who said, “Even though drinking tea was an everyday part of my life growing up in Shizuoka, there were so many things I had never heard of, and I learned a great deal. Seeing how many different types of teas were made, and witnessing the struggles surrounding the harvest, along with the advancements in technology and machines with my own eyes really helped me understand all of it better, not to mention actually feeling the wonders of Minami-Kyushu. I truly fell in love with Minami-Kyushu.  And in regard to Minami-Kyushu city, I hope that the “Marugoto Nippon“ exhibit will help spread the marvels of Minami-Kyushu around the capital, and revitalize the city. We are counting on your support.”
