Our Strong Commitment to Improve our Brand Recognition and Product Quality
On March 2nd (Fri.), an on-site and documentation investigation took place at the Ei Tea Industry Center of JA Ibusuki, for the certification of K-GAP (Certification System for Kagoshima Agricultural and Fishery Products). After the documentation check, investigators visited the tea factory to check the hygiene condition and work safety. These processes and day-to-day efforts are highly important to ensure the food safety for customers all over the world.
Note: K-GAP is Kagoshima’s food certification standard to ensure a safe and secured local agricultural and fishery products of Kagoshima. Along with this standard, each producer has a strong commitment to guarantee the safety of agricultural products and the management process during the entire operation, including documentation, daily inspection, and improvement, to be inspected by a third-party organization on regular basis.
