Exhibition Furusato Marché in Asakusa

A joint exhibition to spread awareness of the charms of Minami-Kyushu, “Recommended Hometown Marche”, was held at “Marugoto Nippon” on March 5th (Saturday) and 6th (Sunday), in Asakusa, Tokyo. Minami-Kyushu City exhibits there throughout the year.

On the first floor of the event venue “Marugoto Nippon Plaza”, many activities took place, including sales of the local products from 14 municipalities exhibited on the third floor that are rarely found in Tokyo. There were also stage presentations where each municipality had a chance to promote their best products, and lotteries with prizes consisting of products that displayed the charms of each municipality. The space was abuzz with a huge crowd.

Minami-Kyushu City also provided samples, sales and promotion of specialty products such as “Chiran Tea”, and provided “Saigo-mochi (Japanese sweet) and Chiran tea”, spreading awareness about Minami-kyushu City to entice event participants to visit our area.

Also, on the third floor, as a collaboration with exhibiting municipalities, a “Local Juice Stand” was also organized, with 14 types of original and exclusive juices, and a “green tea lemon juice”. Customers could experience the taste of early summer thanks to the refreshing lemon and aroma, combined with Minami-kyushu City’s green tea. This drink was also very well received.
